This month in our ‘Meet the Team’ article we’d like to introduce Rob Musgrave: one of Tinder Corp’s longest serving team members.
Before starting work at Tinder 5 years ago, Rob was living in Brighton and working in marketing and SEO, but he moved up to Kent to join the Tinder Corp team, and he hasn’t looked back since.
When asked to describe his job, Rob says that the clue is in his job title “Customer Care Manager”; it primarily involves ‘making people happy’ – he connects with clients on a regular basis to make sure that they’re getting everything they need from Tinder and that their IT is well and truly doing what they want it to do. Rob is, by his own admission, a people person; and so building relationships with customer and making sure they feel loved is what he enjoys the most.
“I’m very sociable, I love chatting to people and one of the first things that drew me to Tinder Corp was that fact that this incredibly professional, high tech company could deliver amazing results with such humour and so much heart. You would never catch me working for one of those massive faceless corporations, I like the fact that I’m on first name terms with each of my clients and I get to hear how just how pleased they are with the service they receive”
With his knowledge of IT and his knack for communication, it’s no wonder Rob’s so at home at Tinder Corp. When asked about the future, Rob tells us that he hopes that, as Tinder Corp continues to grow, so too will his role in the company, and that he hopes to work with us for many years to come.
…Oh and in his spare time Rob plants trees and volunteers in the community. He didn’t want us to put that because he thinks it makes him sound soppy but we think he’s actually a bit awesome so it’s going in anyway.
