Here at Tinder we’ve had the opportunity to be part of a number of high profile projects in and around the country’s capital, but we think this might be our first record breaker!
Landmark Pinnacle, which is currently under construction in Millwall on the Isle of Dogs, is set to be the single tallest residential building in the whole of the UK, and guess who’s been asked to fit the structured cabling?
So what’s it all about?
Well, in 2012, Chalegrove Properties, along with architects Squire and Partners, registered and were approved planning permission for a 75 storey behemoth, which would house 822 residential units and 162 serviced apartments with accompanying facilities. It was an ambitious project, but has paid off big time, capturing the rapt attention of the global media.
Landmark Pinnacle is no ordinary housing development, and state of the art amenities include a private residents’ cinema, gym and indoor garden, as well as play areas and exclusive dining halls.
These stunning residences, which are now nearing completion, represent the very best in modern luxury living and, as such, require the very best technology. Tinder are fitting structured cabling throughout the construction, allowing ultra-fast fibre optic internet access for every resident and adding to our ever growing portfolio of large scale projects.
So far the fit out is going extremely well and, apart from a bit of vertigo on the part of our engineers, looks set to be one of our biggest, most successful projects ever!
