A few years ago Tinder Corp CEO John Amey was chatting to an old friend about the school she was about to open. The Alchemy School in Teynham in Ashford was to be a small, independent secondary school, which catered to students who were unable to access mainstream education and who had experienced significant barriers to learning.
Speaking about the project to fellow owner Paul and the Board of Directors, the Tinder Corp team came to the conclusion that this was a project that they could definitely help.
When the school opened in 2019, Tinder Corp had pledged to donate a years’ worth of IT support to the school, completely free.
We supplied fully managed IT support with a fully integrated private Cloud platform and 365 licence, as well as office software, cyber security and hardware maintenance.
After that first year we continued to supply the same breadth of service at a significantly discounted rate, so that Alchemy School can continue to provide the attest technology, and maintain a safe cyber presence for their amazing students.
We’re incredibly honoured to be able to support a school that gives education opportunities to students who might be otherwise overlooked, and we never cease to be amazed by the achievements of the school and its pupils.
