Calling all Engineers!

Calling all Engineers!

by Tinder Corp Media, 8th November 2022

When Tinder Corp was established we had big ideas about where we wanted the business to go, but reality has surpassed every expectation! With increasingly sizable contracts throughout London and the South East, we’ve found ourselves needing to bring on a team of dedicated and highly skilled staff both in and out of the office.

One of the teams that have been integral to our continued success is our fibre engineering team. These guys and gals are the cornerstone of many of our biggest projects and have helped Tinder Corp cement a reputation as experts in the field of fibre optics.

We have an ever-growing portfolio of projects, particularly working with leading UK ISPs to deliver fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) internet services on both new-build and existing properties, and we need engineers who are up to the challenge. Because of the expansion of the business, we are always on the lookout for top class engineers, and you’ll often find us advertising for new staff. However, even when we’re not actively searching, we’re always happy to receive resumes from enthusiastic and committed job seekers.

The core focus for our engineers is to complete splicing works both internally within our clients’ properties as well as within external nodes. There is an element of node work and cabinet based splicing and installation as well.

In addition to the “cabling” elements of our projects, engineers are also required to install active and passive switching equipment, both within external cabinet locations and within customer premises.

Engineers are required to work with the CEOs of the business and the larger NIT field team to ensure successful delivery of all required works including reporting and updating our various business systems.

We look for people with a current ECS card in a relevant fibre optic field, amongst other things, but in house training is provided for certain parts of the job, so candidates who aren’t sure if they meet the requirements should always give us a call before dismissing the opportunity.

We work with an amazing group of people, have a fantastic relationship with all our teams and offer excellent benefits, so if you’re interested or you know somebody who might be, it’s always worth reaching out and helping us grow the Tinder Corp family!
