A beautiful, modern site in Grays in Essex; Devonshire place is another example of the kind of quality the public have come to expect from Bellway Homes.
Bellway have been building homes in the UK for over 75 years and are renowned for their commitment to quality, which is why we at Tinder are so proud to have been associated with them on this and many other projects.
Tinder Corp, along with our long time partners at Hyperoptic, were brought in on the Devonshire Place project in May 2019 and officially started work in December of that year.
This is a smallish site for Bellway and for us, comprising 102 plots (3 blocks of flats and 54 houses).
Initially we were able to follow our schedule and work with the various construction crews to install the necessary cabling that would bring fast internet access to all the homes on site. However, although this was originally planned as a one year project, Covid restrictions looked set to extend the times by at least another year.
Luckily, thanks to the extra Covid training and precautions undertaken by our engineering team, and their unwavering commitment to their jobs, we were able to bring in the project in under the projected 2 years, completing the last of our work in April 2021.
We’re extremely proud of the team and grateful to Bellway and Hyperoptic for sharing in our commitment to the project – this one definitely counted as a big win on a small site
