Working in a fast growing business like ours, our staff are used to taking the Tinder Corp brand to different places, but this summer one of our engineers was representing the company somewhere a little more unusual!
NIT Supervisor Sean Marriott and his friends completed the infamous Three Peaks Challenge in September, climbing the 3 highest peaks in the UK.
They tackled Ben Nevis in Scotland on a Friday, Scafell Pike in the Lake District the following day, and rounded off the weekend by climbing Mount Snowdon on Sunday – now that’s dedication!
We asked Sean what it was like taking on such a punishing challenge:
“It was an amazing experience with some absolutely stunning views! Luckily the weather was kind for all three climbs and we managed to jog down Snowdon in under an hour with what little energy we had left!
It was around 45km all in all for the three excursions! Safe to say it was tougher than we expected, and in hindsight we could have done it for charity but we underestimated how tough it would be, but we all had a brilliant weekend with lots of aches and pains to go along with great memories”
To our delight Sean managed to represent Tinder Corp on all three peaks by wearing one of our branded caps, so we can definitely say that the business has been to new heights! Sean’s dedication and perseverance come as no surprise to us, because that’s something we’ve always looked for in our employees and something that he demonstrates time and again at work.
