You may remember a while back we talked about Tyler Donovan who, in only his second season as a Superbike racer, is already making waves thanks to his talent and determination.
Tinder Corp have been sponsoring Tyler or a while now and so we thought we should update you on his progress (yes, we’re showing off, what of it?)
On 12th March at the renowned Brands Hatch track in Kent, we watched as Tyler once again put on an incredible performance in the latest heat of the BMCRC motorbike Championships.
He went out for qualifying, ending in 6th place, which put him on the second row.
In race 1 he was off to a great start, gaining 4th place in the initial laps, but suffered a minor mechanical mishap, which caused a missed gear and a 6th place finish.
Race 2 was 8th place and race 3 was 11th, prompting a new set of brake discs and new tyres, courtesy of Tinder Corp.
These obviously made quite a difference as, despite starting out in 15th place, Tyler finished 10th in the 4th race, putting him in a very favourable 8th place over all.
Tyler’s fastest lap of the weekend was 52.1 seconds, which is just shy of his personal best, which had been set in much warmer conditions.
All told, this amazing young man is going from strength to strength and we predict great things going forward
